I wasnt planning on buying glasses even though I have needed them for a while. Peepers made it easy for me to accept that its time for glasses bc of ALL THE EXCEPTIONAL OPTIONS! Im now excited to start wearing glasses . The woman in the shop helped me find just the right pair.

Amazing selection of high end glasses and sunglasses, knowledgeable staff who are patient as I must have tried on 30 pairs and could not decided. Helped me choose a pair of prescription glasses and sunglasses. Did not rush me into a sale, or pressure me. They were also great about me coming back for a repair. Great to have a small business like this to support and shop at!

A couple months ago, my car was broken into, vandalized, and raided. The theives stole several expensive items, including two pairs of nice prescription glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses. So last week, when I happened to be in HP Village, I decided to pop in Peepers. Im not accustomed to losing glasses, and I tend to hold onto them for a while, so in the 5 years that I have lived in the area, I had never needed to check them out. Once inside, I was barely greeted by the two women sitting behind an oddly placed barrier, with their backs facing me, presumably working on adjusting a pair of specs. As the did so, the both glanced at me over their shoulder, but didnt bother to stand or offer much assistance. I casually mentioned what had happened to my glasses in the fall and that I was in the market for several replacement pairs of unique frames, both sunglasses and standard prescription glasses - something like Matsuda, Barton Perriera, or Garrett Leight. But as I looked around, I noticed that the only brands in the store were the basic Luxottica brands found at any Sunglasses Hut or Lens Crafters. When I mentioned the brand Garrett Leight, one of the women aggressively attempted to force feed me some inaccurate tale about the brand. At which point, I was dismissed and all but chased out of the store. It was one of the most bizarre shopping experiences that I have ever had, and even though it was my first visit, it will also be my last. The basic selection, the rude and ill-informed sales staff, and the inattention to customers needs left much to be desired, and has me asking the question: how is this place still in business? It seems quite out of its league pedaling the most accessible brands in eyewear at premium prices amongst the exclusive haute couture and posh newcomer boutiques.
