    Very poor customer service. I have a chair that cost $1300 new, with so-called lifetime warranty, and a year into owning, a part broke. In contacting them to honor their warranty, because the chair was a gift, their warranty is not valid, apparently. My employer likes my chair very much, and is currently looking for several chairs. After telling my boss about my experience, he will not be buying Steelcase, though that was his plan, to begin with. I was going to get one for my home office. Now, Im buying ANY OTHER quality brand. Because if the quality is there, but the customer service sucks, I wont go back. And I wont

He listened to my interests and immediately recommended me the right chair for my needs, and pointed out features that would enhance my home office.     I had been wanting to try out the Gesture and the Leap, and this was the only place that seemed to have chairs to try out. I had tried calling to make an appointment (per the website) but no one had answered so I decided to just try to visit in person, knowing that I could potentially be turned away (the website seemed to imply the location was only for businesses). Fortunately, when I got there, a lovely employee Sarah was able to show me the two chairs and demonstrate the differences. She was really great at showcasing the features and ways to adjust the chairs. Overall a great experience, and FWIW I decided to go with the Gesture!

    Emily Button was really nice. We hadn't realized before driving out (50 minutes) that due to Covid they were only open by appointment. We called the number on the posted sign and Emily let us in and answered all our questions wonderfully. She was really nice to let us in, especially since we really should have called first.
