They love to keep deleting my comment! I will continue to post! This bar has had several shootings. I lived across the street from this place and have heard several shootings total in the one year I lived there. All of the shootings happened at the Palms! Sad to say that this bar was one of the factors that drove me out of the apartment I was renting. There were more shootings & incidents that I was lucky to miss out on. The amount of cars revving their engines and driving the wrong way down McKinney is also something to note. This bar has increased crime in this community and put everyones safety at risk. This bar needs to go! Residents of Uptown voice your opinion on this.

The constant violence and shootings really add to the excitement of drinking at an overpriced neighborhood sore. If its not shootings its people doing donuts in the parking lot. Cant wait for the city to finally shut this place down. Edit: since I cant respond to the owners comments, Ill say I saw multiple people out front arguing with the bouncer with some woman being yelled at for having a gun and the bouncers saying something to the effect of, I already warned you! But I guess its possible people get all dressed up, drive to uptown, park behind the palms at 1 AM for a nice night out at our wonderful Walgreens. 3/4: Another shooting. People drive in, get drunk, go to the parking lot, fight/yell, shoot at each other, and drive away. Rinse and repeat. I just dont understand why this place has to be in uptown, just move it to wherever these people are driving from so they can shoot up the places they live in. Never thought a place would make me appreciate hipsters and their 10,000 coffee shops but I would pay a ton of money for this place to be converted into literally anything else.

Moved to Dallas from New York a year ago and I havent been able to find great wings until I came to PALMS! Hands down best in Dallas. Make sure yall go see Brooke at the bar she has excellent customer service. 10/10!
