The atmosphere is great The service is lacking: You are so excited to be and enjoy what this place has to offer, which is basically food and hookah, just to find out that you are almost going to beg for a waitress to approach you and even when it finally happens, you must wait to get it. However, the waitresses attire were very nice and so was their conversations. On a side note, the valet cost is $20 so be aware. The food: Mediterranean is awesome food?; the type of food that can keep you from gaining weight if you are too lazy to work out. This is my favorite and i have tried the best mediterranean restaurants in the metroplex. Saaya food is very good. We ordered a kebab plate and some hummus. Let me say this: i eat a lot amd my girlfriend and I were full and our tastebuds were all over the place upon savouring this tasty meal. Besides, we order a side of french fries that came with a beef shawarma and that was good as well. The only complainwe had about the food was the hummus pita bread was too salty but eatable. As far as drinks, my girlfriend ordered the Damascus to Dallas, a mix of natural flavor juices infused with Alcohol, which was also super; just be aware that it is a bit spicy due to some ginger or something but it is not aggressive and it actually makes it stand out. The hookah: We ordered grapefuit mint with pineapple head. Their hookah is spectacular; indeed, it is sitting in a some type of Jaccuzy. The flavor was just okay (we did not feel the mint flavor, may be 90^-10% mix) which highpy contrasted with its showroom entry but it was never harsh so ill leave it at that. The bill: For the great atmosphere, the Royalty tasty meal and the showroom hookah, our bill was awesome & we naturally left a tip. Note: we went to STK the week before and paid almost 3 times what we paid at Saaya for 5 times less quality food. If we could turn back the hands of time, we would have gone to Saaya twice and that would have allowed us to know if the lacking service was an ongoing thing or not. Overall: This place is one of the best in Dallas Vegetarian options: It is mediterranean so a vegeterian person would find something appropriate for their diet. Kid-friendliness: There is a space inside for non-smokers Parking: $20 valet.

Negative reviews are accurate, turned our group away for wearing shorts. And we saw a group of white dudes come out of the place with athletic shorts literally a min later. How are you going to take the cuisine of POC, and then discriminate against them. Lol trash

I had such a terrible experience. I had a party of 14 and reserved my table in advance as well as signed a contract. I was told that I had to have a preset menu picked out because of my party size and that it was a minimum of $50 per person w/ alcohol included (per my contract agreement) which was set for me to pay the minimum of $700. I asked numerous of times was alcohol included in that $50 minimum and I was told yes it was. They did not honor my contract neither did they delivered with food or service. It was an overall horrible experience, the food was not great, and no one knew the importance of honoring a contract. 0/10 would not recommend.

About
Saaya

Saaya is a Mediterranean Restaurant and Lounge merging experiential hospitality and a playful refuge from the ordinary. Inside, the exotic and familiar await you—an air of invitation, a seductive vibe. Lined by private booths, lit by live performances, in the passing perfume of a roiling hookah; it’s a chic escape for friends and lovers. Our menu is influenced by the Mediterranean—serving mezze, tapas, and toast-worthy tonics; in any language, it’s utter indulgence. Picture yourself losing track of the hours. Imagine yourself in ecstatic repose. Find yourself in the now—not the “next”. “Saaya” they say, is your place in the shade—let’s keep it cool, all night.
