I love working with Dr. Wansley. She helped me understand the source of my struggles with food, emotional eating, yo yo diets, and weight gain. Her process has helped me have a healthier relationship with food and has given me tools to help me resist falling into bad habits. The weight is coming off slowly, and most importantly, I feel better.

Mary has a unique approach to eating and weight challenges. She addresses the whole person to help you move forward and feel good about taking care of yourself and your health. She learns about you as an individual and suggests realistic and simple actions that are not overwhelming. Mary's approach is kind and supportive, she gives affirmations and truly understands the many complexities around food struggles. I have been happier and healthier than I have been in years since meeting with Mary, and am so thankful to have found her.

I highly recommend Dr. Wansley for anyone struggling with emotional eating. She helped me to understand that I have an eating disorder and provided me with the tools needed to achieve and maintain a long-term, healthy lifestyle and emotional well-being. Mary and I have been friends since Jr. High. We lost touch over the years, and I was hesitant at first to open up to my friend about past struggles with weight issues that I'd developed over time. She quickly put me at ease with her knowledgeable, empathetic insight. After only 2 sessions, I was amazed at the difference. After 6 sessions, I had lost weight and was in a great place emotionally. Then, a personal crisis occurred. She has provided me with advice and encouragement that has helped me through a difficult time. She has shown me that overeating is not the solution to a problem, and it only makes matters worse. I definitely made the right decision in reaching out to her.
