As a family that has long favored Hilton for our travels, it pains me to write a review that veers from our usually glowing recommendations. Our recent experience at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Dallas (2727 N Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75207) was, to put it mildly, a letdown, marking a noticeable decline in the quality and service we've come to expect from this esteemed hotel chain. Upon arrival, the hotel's exterior and lobby presented the upscale, welcoming atmosphere we were accustomed to. However, the faade of excellence quickly crumbled once we entered our room. The first thing that struck us was the muggy air that filled the spacea change of room could alleviate a discomfort we hoped for or, failing that, a fan. Unfortunately, neither solution was provided despite our requests. The condition of the room further compounded our discomfort. Two of the pillows bore unsightly black smudges at the corners and despite the room being designated as non-smoking, a persistent smell of smoke lingered in the air. These issues were brought to the staff's attention, yet our request for replacement pillows could have been fulfilled. We decided to order room service to salvage some enjoyment from our stay. This, too, proved to be a mistake. The pepperoni pizza and burger we received were clearly of the frozen variety, a disappointing realization for a meal that cost over $45. This was not the quality we expected from a Hilton establishment. Thankfully, it wasn't all bad. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was enjoyable, and the morning staff displayed the level of kindness and professionalism we had sorely missed the night before. However, this brief encounter with quality service was not enough to overshadow the overall negative experience. This recent stay has questioned our loyalty to Hilton for future travels. With a vacation planned for this summer, we are apprehensive, hoping to avoid repeating last year's disappointing experience. As much as we have cherished our stays with Hilton in the past, we are now considering alternatives like Airbnb or other hotels for our upcoming trips. In conclusion, our latest experience at the Embassy Suites in Dallas has significantly marred our perception of the brand. We hope this review serves as a clear call for immediate attention to the areas in need of improvement, to restore the high standards we know Hilton is capable of achieving.

Second update: I have been gone the entire day. It is 10:30 pm and the room temperature is 81.7 see new image. I have complained so much I am exhausted. No one cares here or at Hilton. Worst experience I have ever had with any hotel. Now I know why we use Airbnb for our stays. Update:I changed service due to the manager trying his best to assist however one side of the room stayed very warm even after a fan was provided. Another guest was given a room that was occupied abd the occupants screamed when they opened the door. This was after 11 pm. They were eventually provided another room which is proof they could have changed my room. I hardly slept all night.Do not stay here. Old property and it shows. I arrived at 9:30 pm and was told a room wasn't ready. Wth ??? Manager got me into a room Fridge not working all my food is going to spoil. A/C not working. After 45 minutes it is still 75 in my room. I have health issues and need to get to bed. They keep saying they can't switch my room because I am part of a group. This is ridiculous. First off my room should be ready by check in time. Second, front desk or manager should put me in an operating room no matter what. Called front desk. Sent engineering again, now the room is at 77.7 degrees. Engineer now says he closed the valve so it will now get cold. Excuse me why wouldn't you do that in the first place? My food is now in lobby fridge so it won't spoil. It has now been an hour and a half and I am still waiting to get to bed Worst experience ever and lots of excuses. ,

I would like to update another stay. I gave this hotel another try and again it greatly disappointed us. We waited at the front conter for over 10 minutes and no one showed up. We were trying to purchase water before we went to bed. Then we went looking for ice and 4 out of the 9 floors ice machines were not working. This hotel seems like it is going out of business or closing soon. I would not stay here unless you are forced to.

This is a hotel located by the side of the highway. There is very little that can be reached on foot. The hotel is generally in need of renovation, though my room was clean and functional. As with all atrium hotels, the common area can be noisy, though I found the room to be fairly quiet.
