Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum by the Galleria

I stayed here for a conference in March 2024. The staff was very hospitable, especially the receptionist I worked with - Betty Modi. The hotel was full, but she was able to quickly get me into a room before check-in time. The Starbucks staff inside the hotel was fantastic too; very accommodating with my request for a healthier drink. The parking garage is attached behind it and I was always able to find a convenient spot. I wasn't there to do anything around town, but it was easy to get to good meal options.

Staff had a sense of urgency that negated any semblance of hospitality. Upon check-in we were not told any amenities of the hotel or welcomed in any way. Very rushed and chaotic. Every interaction with staffed seemed to go this way, particularly with the male staff, who. Continuously spoke over their female colleagues. That aside, there was blood from a previous guest on our duvet, and while staff was prompt with replacing the linens, there was no recovery or much of an apology from the front desk. For the room itself, although I set the temperature to 64, the room never cooled below 72 making it difficult to sleep. Staff was informed, but the issue never resolved. I barely slept during my stay. All said I would not recommend this hotel if you are a high-needs guest. Its serviceable, but management should do a better job of creating a guest focused experience through their front of house staff.

Loved staying there!!! ROOM The room was impeccable! The bed was perfectly made, the linens are so white and smell like they just came out of the dryer. The bathroom was spotless. There was no dust in the furniture. The maids at this hotel do a fantastic job! Congratulations! I would give you 10 stars! The room wasn't super big but it's just perfect. The TV Is night enough and placed exactly in front of the bed. There were enough places to charge electronics, on both sides of the bed and very easy to reach. BATHROOM SPOTLESS! The towels are fluffy, super clean and smell clean. They provide three of each in a room for two which is very nice. The shower was very nice and their toiletries are nice. They're fresh unlike other hotels where the lotion Is old. You can tell they check them periodically. ROOM SERVICE It was good! They even had gluten free bread. They have a small table that you can easily move and place it right next to the night stand if you want to have breakfast in bed. GROUNDS They have a decent size pool with several seating options, they have a good size gym and a big lobby with several different places to seat. There's a screen outside every elevator where you select your floor and it tells you which elevator is ready. Loved that feature. They have several elevators, all were wuicky and never crowded. FOOD and LOCATION They have a bar and a restaurant inside the Marriott if you don't want to go out. There are a lot of cool restaurants very close to the hotel that you could actually walk to instead of driving, if you like to walk. There aren't your typical chain restaurants. You can park your car and just walk around the area. It's fun and romantic. We really enjoyed that. They also have stores and what not.. It really is in a good location. All in all this is a good place to stay if you're going to Dallas. We has a great time and enjoyed watching the eclipse with other guests and even since of the employees. Good job Marriott family!
