Tru by Hilton Dallas Market Center

Came to town for the eclipse and this was one of the only rooms we could find in the path of totality. Unlike others, we appreciated the valet and he was super nice. Our vehicle didn't get broken into, so I'm calling that a win. The room was exactly the same as other Tru rooms we've stayed in with the only drawback being the extremely loud noise from the interstate. That's the fault of whoever designed the hotel and whoever approved the design though...definitely should have added more soundproofing. Anyway, as we were preparing to leave I ran into one of the managers in the elevator and as we were talking I told her how stressed out I was trying to figure out where to go to view the eclipse. She offered to let us stay on property and if some people didn't show up, she would allow us to go to the rooftop bar for the sold out eclipse event. Luckily some people didn't show up, so we got to go. We had an awesome time and really enjoyed ourselves. We really appreciated her saving the day and I gave her a hug as we left because it meant that much to me to not be put under additional stress. I'd totally stay here again because everyone else was really kind too. I might pick a room on the other side of the building though...or actually use the earplugs they provide. Thanks for making our day so awesome! I didn't catch the manager's name, but wow...what a thoughtful person. I really can't thank her enough.

Awesome awesome awesome stay here! Came for a rooftop birthday celebration and opted to stay a few nights. I've always loved this hotel

Stayed for 3 nights and tried to go to the rooftop bar just for it to be closed each ans every time. Some for private events some just cause it was closed for the day. Pray for a room not facing the freeway.
