The hotel was really great, the location was okay but they do have a lot of people outside who sleep outside and that kinda makes it kinda sketchy to be honest. There is a parking meter right outside the hotel it's one of those first come first serve and also a parking place right west of the hotel as well I believe it's 12 dollars a night. The hotel parking is $30 so you can save some money by parking in those places. But hotel a good 4 out 5 will definitely stay here again now that I know where to park. Breakfast has a lot of choices so yes full Breakfast here . Grate place for the price and rooms are really nice.

All the staff were great. They greet you every time you walk by the front. The food was well prepared. The room was cleaned well. Really the staff is the only reason Im not giving one star. The hotel itself is pretty bad though. Im Marriott Gold and this is the worst Marriott Ive stayed in. The biggest issue for me is there is a strong smell of roach poison in the air. As soon as you get off the elevator it smacks you. The smell is not as bad in the rooms but its still present. If you are pregnant or have breathing issues I definitely think its a dangerous amount. It activated my asthma when I havent had it in years. I held my breath to walk through the hall. I read the response of the hotel trying to say its cleaning products and there is absolutely no way that is the smell. It literally smells like raid. VOCs from chemicals are dangerous and Marriott needs to take this more seriously. They can cause birth defects in pregnant women and from the comments they have known about the problem for a long time now. The 7th floor looks abandoned. Its crazy because you wouldnt expect it from how nice the lobby is. Its like a shock when you get off the elevator. Its really dark and not in a cool moody way. I felt like I was in an apocalyptic movie and any second a zombie would pop out. The rooms do look neat like downtown industrial but the floors are so loud to walk on. I definitely dont recommend staying with anyone that gets up in the middle of the night. The bed was sunken in and didnt have a mattress topper like most Marriotts do. The main reason I choose Marriott is because consistency of the beds but I ended up with a pinched nerve in my back from the bed. I agree with the lack of mirrors. I couldnt even make sure I looked ok before heading to a work event. The lighting is bad so its hard to check makeup either. I had to use my phone by the window. The tv lags and takes forever to load Netflix if it works at all. The area itself has a lot of unhoused. Its pretty typical for downtown areas and probably fine for guys but I kept getting hit on and approached as a woman. I ended up not feeling comfortable once it got too late in the day. Definitely wouldnt walk at night. It is close to the conference center but there are no food options around close by. The wingstop isnt even a restaurant, it can only be ordered from food delivery apps. Rooms: Not comfortable Safety: Not safe Walkability: Lacked food options

I don't know what all the other negative reviews are about. The front desk staff was really helpful. We made a lot of requests, extra comforter, extra towels, all kinds of other stuff. We are high maintenance and the front desk worker took care of us. So nice. The front desk worker also had great recommendations for dinner. The area is fine. Mostly safe. Anytime you are in a big city you have to pay attention if you are walking at night. It's no different than any of the other hotels we have stayed at in this area. The rooms are BIG. Much bigger than at the Omni which we stayed at last year. The room is very modern. Concrete floors. We actually prefer carpet ourselves but there is a nice rug. Anyway, we are having an absolute RANACAN so far. Woooo!
