I go here often and their service is just horrible. You literally have to wave down your server/bartender and the will still ignore you. Drinks are good but they take FOREVER. Door guy is angry. They definitely need to be on restaurant boot camp.

This place did not live up to the hype! Upon being seated the table and chairs were dirty! During the duration of our visit there were flies constantly around causing us to swat them as we ate. There was no dress code being enforced, the service was mediocre, and the drinks were super sweet. For the menu prices and reviews of others I was expecting and upscale urban vibe. The food was well seasoned and decent. All in all not somewhere you must visit when in Dallas.

Eh its alright. The ambiance and the establishment itself was cool. They keep it freezing in there though so ladies keep a jacket on standby, especially for the 2nd floor. The music was good, but the DJ kept randomly turning up the volume and making us jump. My problem was the food. My brother ordered the collard-greens and rice as his entree. Well it was sweet, like overbearing sweet. Some in or party ordered the ox tails which they also complained of the sweetness. Soul food is supposed to be savory not sweet. I went with the Ceasar salad and salmon. They had the salad saturated in the salad dressing. Why not just put it on the side. Also the salmon was over cooked which I expected. The fried okra was ok. All their slushy drinks where sweet. There were 18 of us and everyone keep complaining about how they were going to be diabetics! LOL. If you like your food to be cooked with sugar, this is the place. The bartender and the server did a great job considering our large party. The bartender was also entertaining and made great drinks (not the premade slushy items). Id go back, but would be very selective on what I chose to eat. And yes, be ready to spend upwards of $100 per person .
