I love the director she is so loving and caring. Her and Mrs. Helen have been nothing but a TRUE BLESSING TO ME AND MY DAUGHTER. I love how they pray with the kids with teaching. My daughter has never been so excited to go to school until she came here. So from the bottom of my heart again thanks for being such a blessing to me and mines.

My son and grandson went to the daycare and every time we pass the daycare my son states "Momma that school (speaking of Healthy Beginnings) is the bad school" He recently told me and his dad that the teachers and the director was very mean to him, my grandson and other children. The director and the teachers would tell the kids (the kids that "gave them problems")that they weren't going to be anything in life. These are suppose to be christian women. The staff including the director had attitudes when I drop them off in the morning. I would stop saying anything to her and others because their energy was off. I eventually withdrew them from that daycare. I believe this daycare belongs to the church that sits behind it. The pastor of the church need to read these reviews and take into consideration of looking into how his staff is handling peoples children. Just because you work for a church daycare doesn't mean that is staff's heart is for the love of God.

I don't even think this place is open anymore, if it is it shouldn't be IMO. My son went here for around 6 months, it was pretty bad. The owner and the staff are all very friendly people, and the tuition is affordable so I appreciate that for low income families, but you get what you're paying for. This place was constantly filthy, to the point there had been juice spilled that sat for two weeks before my husband pointed it out and it was cleaned up. My child stayed sick literally the entire time he was there, but everyone convinced me it was normal, NO. I was giving him a bath one night and noticed multiple bite-marks. I was FURIOUS, my husband addressed that as well, the teacher said she wrote an incident report but "forgot" to give it to us. (The report said "child was bitten", nothing more")- seriously?? The last straw, I bought a new sippy to send to school with him, they keep them there and wash them. I picked him up one day and handed him the cup sitting on the table. He IMMEDIATELY indicated something was wrong, I open the cup, I had left a plastic piece on that had prevented him from getting anything out of it. For THREE DAYS no one noticed my child was not getting ANYTHING to drink all day!??! As I said the teachers are kind, but their grammar is all horrible, which is not something I would like my child to pick up on. They also let them sit and watch TV all morning, not really my idea of school. Not good, pulling him out was the best decision I ever made for him.
