Starbucks

I tried to call in a rather large order and the manager declined my order since I was placing it over the phone. Stated I had to come in to order. Or place by downloading the app. Per Manager RORO I don't have time for all that. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Must be nice to be able to afford turning business away like that.

Usually I'm okay with waiting. But why am I waiting 30 mins if there is no line. The manager Nikki was so rude. I rather choose a company that is at least nice to you while you wait. I left with no latte after all that time waiting. So frustrating

This place is slow. Beyond slow. Order was wrong. The drinks aren't fixed right. Everybody playing inside. Everybody coughing like they all just finished smoking a fatty or something. Not going back here. Expect this to be a Taco joint soon.

So I promised my kids a Starbucks on the way to school today for having a great week. We chose this location because it was on the way, and would be a quick detour. My point is, this is not the Starbucks I normally go to, so I did not know it was walk up or drive-through only. Totally fine. I ordered a drip coffee, and two iced coffee drinks. I watched as 8 to 10 people walked up to pick up their mobile orders, again totally fine. After standing there for 12 minutes, I nicely asked the lady at the window if she knew how much longer it would be (we had to get to school), and that it had been over 10 minutes. I was cordial, yall. I was trying to respect the fact that everyone inside looked busy. She looked at me with a smug look and said, we have mobile orders. Thats it. Not, Im so sorry this is taking a hot minute! We had a lot of mobile orders come in, and we are trying to catch up. Thank you for your patience! Just a rude and dismissive single sentence. I said, I understand that, but Im not responsible for your mobile orders. I just know it should not take 15 to 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee. Magically our drinks arrived at the window within the next minute. I worked in the service industry for years and years, and it was always customary to respond with positive professionalism, even if someone is a little heated. The thing is, I was totally cool. I wasnt mad yet, but just asking a question. If youre needing to stop in at a random Starbucks, I wouldnt choose this one. Go to the McDonalds right up the feeder, and get your iced latte or drip coffee in a fraction of the time from someone who will be nice back.
