NM Cafe

This restaurant used to be so good. My friends and I often met there after shopping. Not sure what happened since Covid, but the food is subpar and the prices are way up. Visited on a Thursday at lunchtime and only 3 tables were occupied. Get back to the old menu and food preparation or give up. Would not return even with a perk card.

It was just OK. Wouldnt go back. My mother in law had fond memories of this place from years ago. Being new to Dallas she wanted to treat me to lunch there. I had an BLT salad with salmon. It was nothing special. I could have assembled the same thing at Jasons deli. Salmon was done well, but it was not a great piece of salmon. Did have some of that fishy taste you get when a piece of fish is not fresh. M.I.L. Had the chicken Salad. She said it was good. Our waitress was attentive but cold. No personality. Other waitstaff more friendly.

Went for our favorite.. crab salad. Was disappointed to find only 3 unfavorable things on the menu. This restaurant is quickly flopping. Warning all my circles that its not what it used to be. What are they thinking? Well I know what. But sadly its too aggressive.
