The Meteor Dallas

The breakfast here is EPIC. Had a pop tart, brisket taco and bacon taco. The flavors are the perfection of culinary excellence. Love the architectural details. You can tell they take pride in their coffee. Well done Meteor.

Like an other reviewer here stated, this place is most definitely not a cafe where one can sit down and get work done. Poorly advertised online and on social media (Instagram, TikTok) as a chill cafe/study area. Wrong. Bartender was a bit of a miser about the fact that me and my friends brought our laptops Monday night to get some work done. Bartender mentioned that it might get rowdy from people coming in to get drunk which would make it hard to work.... ...on a Monday at 8pm? Really? Music was loud, and like stated in other reviews there were no outlets or properly large enough tables to put your laptop on. Oh and no wifi as well, we used the apartment next door's free wifi. Bleh. Paid $20 for a chicken sandwich. It was abysmally dry. Pretty sure it was worth all of $3. Lattes were fun and good, though. Atmosphere would have been fantastic were this location more downtown, where people could see that it exists, and advertised honestly. Which is as a bar. Oh and we weren't allowed to bring in our Stanley Cups and drink water because we were violating rules of their "liquor license". Wow, really? Overall this place will likely only be used by the visitors at Virgin Hotel across the road. Can't see why anyone would want to go here when Downtown Dallas offers so much more for far cheaper, less than 5 miles away.

This place is impressive! Love the decor, love the atmosphere, love the service, the food is hands down some of thr best ever. Wine menu is excellent. Top tier. The salads!!! Omg. Best in the world. Amazing menu, they care about what they're serving you and everything. I cannot rave about this place enough.

The best hidden spot, such a clean beautifully decorated place with five sitting areas to choose from depending on what your mood is. It's so welcoming nad the playlist is nicely selected. The coffee is excellent, their sourdough Mediterranean pizza is yummy and their breakfast tacos with farm raised eggs are super delicious, oh and the fries, they are OMG!! Everytime I've been there, I meet a new staff member and they all equally posses amazing customer service skills. I highly recommend this cute place that I like so much! Vegetarian options: They got it!
