"After nearly three years as a tenant at Ovation salon suites, I've witnessed a dramatic decline in its standards. Despite my loyalty, I had to leave to ensure my clients' and my own safety and find a place with competent management. It's clear that Ovation prioritizes filling suites over addressing tenant concerns. The property manager, Lindi, is unresponsive, evasive, and resorts to gaslighting tactics instead of fixing problems promptly. Last month's freeze was the last straw. For over a month, half the building lacked heat, with some stylists reporting temperatures as low as 36 degrees in their rooms a yearly occurrence. When I walked in one morning, I found three propane tanks blasting away, creating unsafe conditions. The property manager falsely claimed they were indoor propane heaters approved by corporate, but I have evidence proving otherwise. This negligence endangered my business and clients, leading to sickness and necessitating a call to the fire department, who deemed the situation hazardous and ordered the tanks removed. Add to that the perennial issues of filthy bathrooms and the presence of homeless individuals, and it's clear this place isn't worth the risk. If you prioritize safety, cleanliness, and responsive management, look elsewhere even if it means paying higher rent. Don't be fooled during the tour; Ovation is a disaster waiting to happen."

Ive had my own suite at Ovation Lakewood for a year and a half now and am still in love. The Ovation team responds to any concerns that arise with grace and speed, i.e. if your room feels too hot or if you blow a breaker because your blow dryer has the power of an industrial size fan. The facility is always extremely clean and there is plenty of guest seating. I recommend this place, and this team, to anyone looking to start or continue their journey into business ownership.
