Shade Works of Texas

The heat in the sunroom is just unbearable for Mom. There are several options to consider, one being to install an awning. I contacted Shade Works of Texas and made an appointment with Tom. He is an excellent representative for this company; very patient and brought a nice selection of product samples. His quote was within the price range I had expected. We have other options to investigate, but if we decide to go with an awning, we will definitely use Shade Works of Texas and I will update my review of their product and service.

We couldn't be happier with our shade as well as the service we received from Tom and the crew at Shade Works. The back of our house faces east so we get the morning sun. Once the shades were installed we had no issues with the sun and were even able to lower our AC setting! When we later enlarged our patio and needed the level of the shade raised, Allen walked me through it over the phone. We highly recommend Shade Works of Texas!

Ordered shades from Mr. Tom 11-12 weeks ago, got an email from Tom explaining a delay due to the hurricanes in Florida, said we were 16-17 weeks. Just finished talking to the owner and he let me know it would be another couple of weeks. As of now we are on the schedule. Look forward to editing this review in a couple of weeks to a 5 star review.

I have purchased 4 retractable Shades from Alan and Tricia. They are honorable, trustworthy people who are always faithful to their commitment to provide the service their customers expect and deserve. And their product also lives up to performance standards they promised, even including extremely high winds and rain.We are purchasing another home to be completed in April, and we have already had Alan measure for a new Retractable Shade.
