The Tradition–Prestonwood

Nine elderly women tenants were MURDERED here from July 18, 2016, to December 23, 2017, and their valuables stolen. They said it was natural causes which was not true.

Can't do less than one star... I'm in shock! Just finished reading the article "Unnatural Causes" (Olsen, Lise; AARP Magazine; Dec 2022/January 2023; Pages 50-59). Gruesome story of deaths and thefts and coverup. I for one would never let a relative live at this place after reading this article!!!

Please DO NOT take your loved one to the Tradition Prestonwood Assisted Living and Memory care.  My mother was hospitalized three times while in their care.  One of her caregivers left her nude on the toilet, then turned her back on my mother to make the bed.  My mother got off the toilet then fell on the floor thereby cracking her nose bone. Another time, my mother fell in the hallway and I was told that she was fine.  The caregiver called me and told me that she was not fine. She had severely bruised her hip and was unable to walk resulting in her being confined to a wheeIchair until it healed. Another time when I went to see her, I noticed she was bent over holding her stomach.  I learned that she had gastrointestinal bleeding.  The nurses said I should not take her to the hospital and that they could take care of it.  I asked them how they would do that, one of them said we can take her back to her room and use a stethoscope to listen to her stomach. I immediately took her to the hospital emergency room.  She was diagnosed with extreme gastrointestinal issues. I had video cameras in her room.  I observed other "patients" going into her room while she was napping and used her toilet.  One of the patients was EXTREMEYLY violent and attacked other patients.  The staff on duty was unable to control him and he knocked a woman to the floor. Again, DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE THE TRADITION-PRESTONWOOD ASSISTED LIVING &MEMORY CARE.
