This was our first pool, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. We initially were getting a pool, fireplace, and patio cover. Pros - The project is not yet complete, but everything does look good. I will later upload a photo when complete. I do want to express that the 3 stars is NOT related to the quality of the work. I believe the quality is good. I wanted a firepit look that they hadn't done before, but was willing to do. The administrator was punctual in scheduling appointments and always sending reminders. She was GREAT! From my experience they were very informative and transparent and if there was an issue they were also ethical and honest. Cons - Like any new build, whether it is a home in a community, custom home, etc. a pool isn't much different and you should always prepare for possible hiccups. A difference that I found with Avree Pools is that unlike with home's a client usually has a central source of communication, with one person throughout the entire project. However, with Avree pools you communicate with different centralized personnel, depending on which stage you are at, in the process. This wasn't too bad, however, I feel it does opens more opportunity for miscommunication and confusion. We indeed came across a few incidents in the first stage and one did result in us as clients having to come out of pocket for a miscommunication. Which leads me to the platform they use to communicate everything across the board to alleviate this type of confusion - Slack. Be sure to reiterate EVERYTHING in Slack, as they do advise at the beginning. Word of advise, even if you verbally speak to anyone regarding anything related to your project, make sure you then reiterate it in slack, even if an Avree employee verbally says something is O.K. or "No problem". DO NOT RELY ON VERBAL COMMUNICATION. Once we did this, the project ran smoothly, until we came across another issue, that was an oversight on Avree's side, which resulted in us not being able to get the Patio Cover, we initially contracted for, because we'd already exceeded our out of pocket budget. They did however, refund us, but never the less I was quite disappointed in this as it was something that could have been prevented. Lastly, I would be prepared for longer completion times depending on the extent of your project as well as uncontrollable factors like weather. We were given an estimate of completion time between 6 - 8 weeks. We closed on our loan around the second week of December and I guesstimate that they will complete everything around mid - April (excluding the covered patio which would have taken longer). Now in full disclosure we did have a freeze which pushed us back a week, as well as a pipe that needed to be rerouted that pushed us back an additional week and a couple of days where it rained and we needed to wait for the dump sites to dry up. But all in all the project will have taken 5 month (almost a half of year) to complete from the date of signing.

So far so good, my pool isn't finished yet but as of now all of the field reps have been exceptionally professional and have answered all my questions which is a lot, they clearly know what their doing. My only gripe as of now is the adding of a heater and 4 step ladder with Walker (minus 1 star), neither of these request were addressed before the start of construction and I had to do it with the field crews on site. All of the contractor's they use have been very thorough from start to finish which is greatly appreciated. During the Deck phase i requested a change which was done without hesitation and the plans were revised and submitted in a very timely manner. As of now waiting on the city's approval to continue and get swimming.

Avree Custom Pools has been a great experience. The best part is the amount of communication throughout the process. They use Slack to keep you updated nearly daily and answer questions rapidly.

We are currently in construction for our pool and we have had a great experience with every team member we have interacted with. Our first experience was with our sales rep, Walker, and he was great! He walked us through our whole design process, was patient with every redesign, and was quick to respond. Every person since has been super helpful and knowledgeable. Joe was our next point of contact, he was responsible for the excavation process. He came out and explained the process start to finish, responded to questions quickly, and managed the dig start to finish. Leo, Johnny, Mark, and Delinda have been points of contact for other parts of the project and they have all been great at communicating progress and next steps, answering questions or concerns, and explaining walk throughs and inspections. They use an app called Slack to communicate through the duration of the project that has streamlined communication between every team member and our household. Communication is all in one place and with every person at every stage which has made it super easy and convenient for us as busy as we are.
