I highly recommend Sammie Jones and Houston Psychotherapists. For anyone having mental health problems, difficulty with interpersonal relationships or wanting to improve their overall quality of life, you would be in good hands with these professionals. The offices are warm and inviting, and the staff is helpful, compassionate and professional. Sammie Jones is an excellent psychotherapist and has the right combination of a tender heart and fierce ability to help you confront and transform things that are difficult to change!

Agreed that Brett Richie is either undertrained irresponsible, or a toxic mix of both. Our first interaction occurred after an extremely trying year which included the birth of my first child, the death of my mother and 2 cross country moves. It was also a time where I had been able to maintain almost a year of continued sobriety. I was under a tremendous amount of stress, grief and sadness. When I told him in our second counseling that I wanted to drink and was adamant that I was going to do so; his response was ok, go on, do it. In a nutshell, PISS OR GET OFF THE POT. A counselor should be part of a multifaceted treatment plan and I think encouraging a sober addict to drink is ignorant and irresponsible.
