This is our second time at the Farmhouse, so that alone says how much we adore it. When were driving up my baby starts dancing and clapping and some days he doesnt want to leave. Everyone there is truly genuine and cares about every child that walks in that door. All the staff know all the kids by name and treat them as such. Its like dropping your kid off with a family member. You always want to feel like your child is being nurtured and taken care of when they arent with you and thats the feel I get here at the Farmhouse. I always have and always will recommend them without hesitation.

We wouldnt trust anyone else with our kiddos. They thrive at FHPS because of how personalized the care is and because of the amazing teachers/staff.

I have worked at The Farmhouse Preschool since August 2020. I love working for Mr. Jeremy & Mrs. Cree. I have worked in all aspects of childcare & I have to say these owners truly care about this school. They are dedicated to the school, staff & to seeing that the children are well taken care of & educated. I cant recommend this school enough please check it out.

I absolutely love this school. When I drop my daughter off I know she is in great hands. She loves all of her teachers and has such a great time here. The communication is great and the culture of the school is welcoming and highly structured. I definitely have a peace of mind knowing my child is properly cared for and has meaningful learning opportunities. ***Update: my daughter will now be attending elementary and I am actually sad that we wont be at Farmhouse. Ms. June was heaven sent and my daughter loved being in her class. The curriculum allowed my daughter to learn and have fun. They created so many arts and crafts which my daughter loved and I was always looking forward to see what she was coming home. Best Preschool ever!

After being on the waiting list for almost 6 months, a spot at The Farmhouse Preschool toddler room became available for our little girl. Everyone we spoke to said that if a spot at this exclusive preschool became available, take it. We pulled her out of her current daycare, where she had happily been for 6 months, and started at Farmhouse. Within a few weeks, we were back at our previous daycare. In those few weeks, her sign language and other communication skills regressed, and she developed an attitude problem. As parents, we were hardly allowed in the building or her room to pick her up or drop her off. As a result of the limited interaction, were unable to develop much of a relationship with her teachers. The person who met us at the door did not have any knowledge of her daily activities or how her day was. The Brightwheel app provides basic updates on meals, naps, diaper changes, but lacks the personal report and opportunity to connect with teachers and other staff members that we had at her other daycare. Likewise, we did not have an opportunity to see or know any of our daughter's new friends. The TV in the classroom was on in the majority of photos/videos they sent throughout the day, and it seemed like each day was mostly a free for all, like a glorified babysitting class. We also felt that the kids were confined to their highchairs way too often. They were put in them not just for meals and snacks, but during circle/learning times and during diapering of the entire class. During an introductory play session before our daughter started, we watched a sick boy bawl his eyes out in the high chair table for half an hour with little to no attention as he waited for his parents to pick him up. In the few weeks we were there, we never once got any coloring or art back because they never did any. If you ask almost anyone in Fairfield, they will happily give a glowing recommendation of Farmhouse. I dont doubt that their curriculum is great for older students, but I feel like their toddler room needs some more attention. Ultimately, we decided this wasnt the daycare for our family because we wanted more structure and accountability for our daughter. One of the few benefits was the proximity to the Fairfield neighborhood, and the price was about 25% less than her other daycare.

Business Response on Google Aug 15th, 2022
Providing Exceptional Service and preparing our babies to be far ahead of their peers is what we are known for and we take great pride in continuing that honor. We understand your frustration and personal expectations were missed. This review saddens us, mainly because your sweet 1 year old seemed happy and was just settling in. Her warm smile and ability to adjust in such a short period of time was amazing. A friendly note, with most kiddos first few weeks although difficult its critical to let them adjust to their new environment including teachers, friends, environment, and routine. It is with our most sincere hope that you and your family find what's suitable for your needs!
