Bruster's Real Ice Cream

A bit shocked to read the negative reviews as my experience was positive from start to finish. All signs are clear with easy to read print, older gentleman (who I assume is the owner) was the only one working and was with a drive-thru customer as I walked up. He came over and told me hed be right with me. I agree he isnt overly friendly but hes pleasant enough. I ordered a cone for my son and got a free sample of ice cream for myself. I loved it, so I ordered a small cup as well. Yes it was almost $16 but the cost of things simply dont surprise me anymore. Nice seating area to enjoy some ice cream on a lovely Monday evening. We will be back!

The shake I ordered was very good, but unfortunately, the service was less than desirable. I went there on a Sunday afternoon and stood at the window for a couple of minutes. No one came to help and since no one else was there, I thought maybe the place was closed even though the sign said open. I started to walk away when some other customers showed up and finally the window opened. The server just stood there and looked at everyone without saying anything, so I just went up and placed my order. He handed me the shake and did not say anything except what was needed to take my payment. I don't need service people to be super friendly, but for what things cost, plus making a tip part of the payment process, it would be nice if they were not unfriendly.

It's slightly overpriced, the chocolate ice cream isn't chocolaty enough but delicious. And the staff could be friendlier

The service of an establishment really takes you a long way and this one missed the mark. We spent $48 on mediocre ice cream and terrible service. It was our first time here and with the lackluster of wanting to keep our business, it we will definitely not be returning. I was hoping for so much more since it is so close to our house. People usually say its the teens that lack customer service skills but it was the adult.
