The Like Mike organization is dedicated to making these kids better every practice. Im glad I signed my sign up last Spring. Its been great to see his growth.

I have 2 kids in this program and they absolutely love it! The coaches and staff are amazing! The structure and accountability they push to the kids is instrumental and it shows in their progression from one season to the next! I would highly recommend this program to any child whether a beginner or not.

We have been with Like Mike Sports for 4 years now. We love how they help developed our son in learning the fundamentals of basketball! Their coaches are awesome! They look after my son and treat my son like their own. I would not want to take my son anywhere else. Coach Mike is very knowledgeable in the game of basketball and their program is a great program if you want your kids boys and girls learning how to play basketball! I highly recommend you to come and bring your kids!

So I have been waiting to write this review now for about a month I wanted to calm down and give this program a REAL and HONEST review not an emotional one. I read in a lot of their responses here that they "Value" Feed back but this just isn't true. That couldn't be further from the truth. They'll listen but only to tell you that you are wrong. We where here for over 2 years! And this never changed. Their lack of communication is their biggest down fall add the helter skelter make up of the organization and it's a mess. In the 2 years we where here they had 1 Parent meeting 1!!!!!! And that's because they had 3 parents who were very displeased with how they coached. The head coach Mike Glaze is quite frankly anti social you have to walk on egg shells just to speak to him he hides in the corner mostly and NO he was not at the parent meeting. Honestly I could go all day with what's wrong with this league seriously all day!!! From them switching up the teams during the finals game to just down right not having a plan for the kids to play. You are not going to get real coaching. You will get cone drills cone drills cone drills it doesn't matter the team is losing because they cant hold on to the ball nope CONE DRILLS! One thing I will guarantee you your kid will get use to losing here.The straw that broke the camels back for me was being assaulted by one of their coaches who from what I understand is still employed by them. I was complaining about the coaching and next thing I know I got this wannabe hood coach standing over me cursing and talking down to me when I stood up I got hit in the face. Not only did they never apologize not only did they justify his action but when we where waiting on the police to show up they locked me AND my sons out of the gym and eventually abandoned us there after hours. After 2 years here of being loyal to the group they treated us like garbage. They cant hire good people the only coach who's good is Coach Jimmy and believe me most people stay just because of Coach Jimmy the kids love him. But when you get to club level there is no consistency they cant keep coaches. I could never ever ever be ok with someone allowing their employee to harm a parent much less someone who locks me and my sons out when I wasn't the one hitting people. I lost the little respect I had left for them at that point. They proved that they stand for nothing but profit. Pros of this leagueIts cheap compared to the REAL programs waaay cheaper. But you get what you pay for. Now before you ask then why did you stay 2 years? Because of comfort bottom line, Price was comfortable my sons developed friendships and me and the dads had great relationships. But if you want to grow you have to get out of your comfort zone so this was a bitter sweet thing. God works in mysterious ways.This is where id normally say if your kid is just getting started this is a great place but I cant. I just cant support people who have shown me their lack of Character. Period.

Wish my son could have experienced this camp and that I could be leaving a more positive review as Im sure its more deserved than based on my single experience.
I had paid in full weeks prior for my son to attend a four day basketball camp- my mother in law passed unexpectedly and we had to go out of town at the time of the camp. I sent emails and texts to the information referenced on the websites- asking if I could be refunded the $142 and explained the situation. Most of my correspondence was completely ignored. Eventually I received a text back saying that I would be contacted by phone on the same day. Never happened. I tried following up a couple more times with no response and eventually just gave up. If its policy to provide no refunds whatsoever, that just needed to be explained to me. Its the lack of communication and feeling like I wasted that money for no reason during a difficult time for our family. Therefore, I cannot recommend this organization to anyone.
