I was soooo shocked they quoted me $1779+ for an alternator belt and tentiner. Said it would be a 4-hour job and not with OEM parts. Then tried the old fear tactic by the belt display, fear of driving, and I knew it was weird when the person asked me to step outside for the quote instead of at the front desk. Needless to say I declined and asked them to put my Mini Cooper back together so I could go home and find a more fair and honest and less fear tactic delivering shop. I did and the service tool 20 minutes to get the parts 1 hr for the service and cost $457 total! I tipped them for the honesty.

Fantastic service!!! Finally, I've found a mechanic that can be trusted and is fair. Jared is great. The work performed was first class and they took me home and picked me up when the car was ready. Adams Automotive will definetly continue to get my business. Update: for routine service they are substantially more than the dealer. Dont know what happened to them price wise. Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair, Vehicle Inspection

I recently attended this garage with my car for a state inspection and bumper-to-bumper inspection. Initially, my impression, based on the environment and signage, was an automotive garage that has pride in treating its customers well and takes care in the work it performs. However, as I got into the experience and received feedback from the mechanic and service agent, I got the impression they were performing aggressive patronizing sales tactics to try to make me spend money not needed to. They did not tell me the car had passed its inspection until I asked them. Before that, they concentrated on a rear shock absorber. They tried to explain there was an oil leak from it and it would likely fail causing damage. As someone who has some mechanical experience, visually this was not a convincing argument for me. If there was a leak, it was very small. I agree that it is important to perform preventative maintenance to prolong a car's life. However, it appears Adams has adopted a culture of trying to scare its customers to react to in my view in this case a minor issue at considerable cost, which instead just needed monitoring. I say this because several months later, when I perform a bounce test on the claimed effected area, the suspension still reacts as it should settling the car quickly, so there is in my view still no issue to resolve. Also at the time, I was quoted over $700 to address the issue (approx $350 parts and $350 fitting), but when I researched the shock absorber part online it was priced at $27 and I could replace it myself without special tools. I appreciate I would be paying for the garage's expertise to replace the part safely and the garage needs to point out in its view any potential issues to address. However, in my view, they were trying to charge for the whole rear driver-side suspension assembly, when only one part of the assembly, the hydraulic part, needed replacing and hence were attempting a significant overcharge for parts and labor costs. This culture in my view is not ethical. I caution patrons of this garage to be aware of this in my view less than ethical culture to create business for themselves. No Doubt Adams will deny this culture. Regardless I do urge them to honestly look at themselves and make changes towards an honest ethical garage relying on a good reputation generated by ethical work practices, rather than scaring unethical tactics to generate business.

Wow, what a nice replacement to the old shop that was here before! They have really remodeled the building nicely with nice blue and yellow colors, and have really friendly staff. I think and hope they also have smart enough technicians, and will add more later.

So grateful I brought my vehicle to Adam's Automotive. Louis went above and beyond to provide great service for my vehicle. I brought it in unsure of what I would expect as I've had horrible service at shops prior to this. When it was time to pick up my car, Louis had me test drive the vehicle to ensure I was not feeling any more issues and thoroughly described how they serviced the engine. My vehicle is running wonderfully and I feel at ease with the warranty on the work that they did. They did a thorough diagnostic and sent me a report of what they found in other areas of my vehicle and their recommendations. Thank you Adam's for a job well done.
