My son passed away unexpectedly while he was staying at this hotel. My husband and another son picked up my sons things but mistakenly forgot my sons workbooks. My husband called the next day and talked to a manager and was assured the boots were put up. My husband went to retrieve them, and a completely different pair of boots were brought to him. They said they would track down the correct boots and contact us. THEY NEVER DID. I called and spoke with a woman manager, and I explained how the boots were sentimental and was my son's first pair of work boots. She gave me her personal cell number so I could send her a picture of the missing boots. She said she understood and would do everything she could. She left messages unread and couldn't even have the common courtesy to answer my text. With everything that my family is going through with our loss. This is just absolutely cruel. We were told that when my husband went to retrieve the boots, the cleaning lady didn't find any boots. Why make a situation worse for a family when all they need to do is be honest. Don't leave a grieving mother who just wants all of her sons belongings. His first and only pair of work boots that he paid for himself with unanswered questions. It's just wrong. I will not say anything nice about the staff at the Corsicana tx holiday inn. For all I know, they are a bunch of lying thieves who don't care about their guests or their stuff.

I dont know what kind of scam the people were trying to pull but they charged me 50.00 deposit which was fine and after we checked out they charged my card for another 108 for supposably the bed was soaked in pee it was my 2 teenage daughters and my girlfriend and I so by the time i turned back around of course there was no evidence of the bed being pee in it it was already soaked in their cleaning liquid the microwave was out of wack loud noise while it warming up food the pool was out of order yet it had water in it there was mold in the bathtub area one elevator was broke down and the other was working funny the breakfast was undercooked the service was bad this hotels pictures is not as they seem youre better going somewere else I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN BEST BELIEVE THAT

claimed one of our beds were wet with urine at the pillow/headboard area when my family and I are too grown and wouldve noticed.
