I gave him my W2 along with other receipts to file. He had them for 2 months and I didn't hear a word from him until I called him about a month and a half in. I called him again for the final time and he said it was ready, but the evening before I was supposed to pick it was ready, he claimed there was no W2 in the envelope. I made sure more than once that everything he needed to file was in that envelope. I had to recontact my company to get another W2. I've used him in the past and he was a fairly competent CPA, but I'll use him no more. I think that he really needs to retire, the workload might be getting to him.

Failed to complete our business taxes by the due date and did not respond to emails or phone calls. He never communicated any needs or concerns to us. Had to go to his office to speak with him for which he made multiple excuses for his lack of communication and failure to complete the work despite having all files since February. Would never recommend this individual for any services.

Mike is great! I have used him for years for tax prep and consulting on different tax issues boht for my personal taxes and my business. I moved from Corsicana years ago but have continued to use Mike McCoy. I consulted with CPA's in Austin but never thought I got the professional expertise and knowledge that I did with Mike.
