PSA...BEWARE!!! Avoid this business!!She double booked two weddings side by side 06.10.23 without a real staff for each. The couples' friends did the best they could to make up for the lack of service (basically none) to have our friends' wedding still take place. They had to set up both the wedding ceremony and reception area themselves. Wedding guests served other wedding guests from the buffet style dinner (HEB potato salad containers is what they brought). Chicken was overcooked and tasteless. Green Beans were cold. No bartender even though they paid for one; it became self-serve. This woman, Brewer, provided half-ass decor, nothing like was promised. Table covers were supposed to be black, that's basic. And even that was wrong amongst everything else. Cake was not decorated so my sister had to take the toppings off of the special drinks she made for the reception. The alcohol that was provided for the wedding was left to sit out in the sun. Without all of their friends, the wedding and reception would not have happened. The rehearsal the night before was just as big of a joke. She was utterly useless and not once came over to us to help during the ceremony/wedding. Our friends had to fight through anger and tears to enjoy their wedding. What she did to them was the worst business practice ever seen. She basically took their money and ran!!!I would rate zero stars if it was allowed.*Sharing for a club member. I didn't make it to the wedding.

* I share this review based solely off the customer service I received, and not the wedding planning, nor services rendered. My wedding was canceled before it took place* When you google and/or Facebook search weddings in the Corpus Christi area - Padre Ryan Beach Weddings is the first one to come up. The reviews are great and the clients seemed satisfied. So, when I got engaged and we decided that we wanted a beach front wedding - the choice was simple. I sent a message to Ms. Brewer and she quickly messaged me back to set up a call to discuss pricing. She was friendly and made me feel comfortable. I will note that she also offered us a discount on seating to accomodate all of our guests. Unfortunately after that, emails became far more sporadic. She did email me back in the beginning. And when the emails lessened, I figured we just had different days off/working days and our wires were getting crossed. About 16ish months before the wedding was scheduled to happen - I decided that I wanted to pay the wedding deposit and secure our date. At this time - I was told that I was the only bride that she had scheduled for 2023 and since our wedding was not until September. . We were definitely safe for a little while. But that I would have to put a deposit down to secure-secure it. Okay. No problem! Common business practice! This deposit turned out to be very easily almost 50% of the total bill. But okay. Less I have to pay later and this did also include the photographer! Excellent! Ms. Brewer at this point unfortunately became even more difficult to contact. She did respond. But it was quite sporadic. After 3 promises to take the deposit - we were finally able to set a call to pay over the phone. Boy, was I relieved. This is all still SO far out at this point. I figure we'll get more sorted out later. But whew! That's done! Unfortunately my engagement ended 2 months after this. Brewer was my first call, even when I truly did NOT want to tell anyone. She verbally told me that I was her customer. But that we were also friends and that she'd see what she could do about a refund. Even though my contract stated no refunds whatsoever. No one who plans to marry someone goes into it thinking that your plans would fail. I did NOT expect to need a refund. However given the verbal stating; I assumed she'd look into it. Given that she's very busy and her previous lack of response. . I knew correspondence would take some time. I had a lot on my plate. I get that. But when one's entire future (financial and otherwise) turns upside down - let's be honest. The refund helps! I sent 6 emails over the course of 6 months and received maybe 2 back stating that yes, she'd look into it. When she did - I was told that because I had only paid the deposit (once again - this was almost 50% of the total bill) that there was nothing she could do. After the 6 month mark had come and went. . I told her that I'd post a review of my experiences and make sure to include the good and the bad. So this is that. Overall she made me feel comfortable at first. But her communication was not timely and absolutley left something to be desired. ( And most importantly! If the worst does happen and your wedding gets canceled - I would NOT expect any form of refund!)

Brewer made our dreams come true! We had a small intimate beach wedding on the National Seashore and she made it so beautiful and perfect. There was ZERO stress during our whole wedding planning because of Brewer and her sister company working together to create such a special and memorable day. I can't recommend them enough. You will NOT be disappointed.
