Like other news outlets in Corpus, this one is a joke. Something major happened in a neighborhood near to us earlier today, so I did what any other normal person would do, I went to a news site. KIII to be exact. After looking around the whole site I couldn't find anything about what happened. Why would there be? There were only about six to seven police vehicles and other emergency vehicles. Way to keep the residents of Corpus Christi in the dark. Their social media page is another joke. You won't find local stories on it, but what you can find are news stories about things happening in San Antonio and food trucks to try out there, as well. Journalism at its worst.

Caused broadcasting blackout for Directv subscribers. They work to jack our prices up during the pandemic. Stay away from all ABC shows.

Five stars on Bill Vessy. He covered one of my basket ball games in 1986 at Mathis High School in 1986, while the Sports Man at channel 6 then. He also covered when our coaches played the Channel 6 staff. He has a place in Corpus Christi TV news broadcast history, up there with Gene Looper, Walter Furley, Joe Gazin, Dan Mc Reynonds, Bob Tucker, Lee Sausly, Dale Nelson, Allen Harwell, Art Mack, Phill (Beezie) Socolof, and all of the other South Texas legendary figures in broadcasting. I am sorry if I forgot a few. We grew up with all of them, and they are a fixture within the memories of our lives. When one of them goes away, we feel a sense of loss. Bill definently has his place within this very elite group of broadcasting legends. I remember another Hurricane that was supposed to hit us directly, and went to Houston instead. It was much worse than Harvey, a Category 5. Bill showed the last projection as a surprise, we all felt releved. He assured us all that we were out of danger. The next day, Sunday morning, he went to the sea wall on Padre Island to interveiw people and discus the storm surge, as if to prove to us, the danger had passed. He is a legend of South Texas. Odios mi amigo!!!!!!
