David, my neighbor, was patient, and offered advice that was spot on all night long. The pictures were AWESOME. Thank you So much.

First of all I want to say that David Bazan is a very charismatic man. That is what won us over and made us decide to select him as our photographer. He is the only person we interviewed and booked shortly after. I don't believe he is a bad photographer but after many years of looking at our portraits I do not believe he was the one for us. We are more spontaneous people and don't feel like there was a lot of "in the moment" portraits. They were more posed. My husband didn't like his individual portraits. I loved my individual portraits though and the ones at the church. It embodied the sanctity of the beautiful sacrament of marriage. So why the harsh rating? Communicating with him was somewhat difficult after the wedding. At one point my email went to spam. He did apologize. But what basically took ALL of the points away was that he numbered the portraits wrong. Two of them had the same number. At first he confronted us and being naive we thought we might be wrong. Luckily we did a print screen of the two portraits numbered the same. He asked us to bring the photo back and he would reprint the portrait. He never did. He also yelled at my husband for "not paying" him ten dollars for a collage we didn't request. One, we did pay him the $10.00 (with a check) and Two, we did keep the collage. But I really wish he would have distributed the portrait of my Great Grandmother and Great Grandfather. He passed away four months after our wedding and that was the only picture/portrait of my husband and I with them. He was very clear that he only kept the images for 6 months. However since this was a special circumstance I emailed him again afterwards. The last time was a several weeks ago (no reply) and after our 3rd anniversary (no reply). I knew the probability of him having this images was slim to none. Nonetheless, I would have appreciated a So Sorry, No Luck Here reply. But in all honesty, I believe not providing a portrait, especially the last portrait of your Great Grandparents together, to your clients is inexcusable.
