I have used Pest Patrol for 15 years at multiple addresses I have lived at. Ive recommended their service to so many friends, family and acquaintances over the years. Most recently to my mother who signed up for service at my recommendation only weeks ago after moving here from out of state. All of that said, the customer service I received today by the office will have me searching for a new company after my loyalty all of these years. My yearly service is up for renewal in December. A few days away, sure, but I wasnt able to schedule my quarterly earlier, my family has had some flu lingering around among other things. I wanted to be sure to get my service taken care of and then when time allowed renew again as I always have. My appointment was made by Ashley who answered the phone. Under the wire, sure, but again my contract is up in December. My scheduled service would be November 29th. That is until I received a call back from the office saying that I would actually need to renew before I could receive service. I was informed that this was a decision made by the office manager. I asked her to please speak with the office manager again to explain that I have been a loyal customer for many years, that she could look up the recommendations and sign ons Ive sent and, as always, I would renew again soon. I was kind during this call, I just felt I was asking for the service that is provided by my yearly contract and surely they would make it right. Not at all. I was told that I would have to renew first. Im still under contract for the year. Its not December and even if I didnt schedule a quarterly service, your guarantee claims I can call anytime I see activity and you will send my tech (who is wonderful by the way). I explained in the initial call to Ashley that I had been seeing activity which was the reason for my call. So, 3 days left in my contract or not youve broken your agreement to me. Its disheartening. Service: Bug & insect extermination
