Horrible bedside manners. My 78 year old father, diagnosed with 4 stage lung cancer, had the worst experience with this oncologists. First he basically tells my dad, what did he expect after 40 years of smoking? Then states he has 17 months to 2 years to live and schedules a biopsy, MRI & CT scan. My father begings to deteriate fast. I inform of excessive weight loss, So he prescribes cyproheptadine 4 mg. (Look it up. It causes anorexic). Bottom line, we've been with "specialist" for three weeks and my father is down 40lbs, unable to walk now and he still has not recieved but one of ten radiation treatment, one IV, by request, and no immunity treatment. I advise, Check medication after reviewing my father's drugs. I had to stop three of the five bottles because the diagnois didn't match prescrition. in fact the medications were more fatal then treatable.

Six years ago I was diagnosed with Horrible Esophageal Cancer and was rapidly deteriorating, I was referred to Dr. Sehgal, I went in to see him and informed him that my Brother had died from this same condition, The Doctor told me he was going to help me and that he would do everything he could to save my life, he read through my file and was very direct in his approach, had me on Chemo the next day, his care of me could not have been better, his staff were Excellent with me and the Chemo Nurses are the best anywhere. Dr Sehgal kept his promise and cured my Cancer, I can never thank him and his staff enough, he is highly intelligent and a very talented oncologist who did indeed save my life. Cancer is Evil, Unpredictable and in many cases very difficult to survive. there is no doubt in my mind that had it not been for Dr Sehgal, I would not be writing this review now. Thank you Ajay, you are always in my prayers.

My mother recently had cancer and though Sehgal provided a great treatment plan, but he is a horribly rude doctor. His office staff contacts you at the last minute for appointments, they also never helped with any questions we asked. An example, one of the Chemo's my mother was on caused extreme back pain, she told Sehgal and his staff about the horrible pain and they just told her that is to be expected, but when another doctor in the office had to prescribe her chemo, that Doctors staff told her to to try claritin to help with the pain and OMG that was a lifesaver, why couldn't my doctor or his staff have told me this. Sehgal will also make you sit for hours with no explanations, and if you say anything he will threaten to stop treating you and ban you from anyone else in his office (that is literally threatening the life of a cancer patent). If you need an oncologist please go with anyone else in that office, stay far away from Sehgal.

I am so blessed to have Dr Sehgal as my doctor He is phenomenal. I would not go to anyone else. He is highly intelligent and very professional. His medical care is excellent. He treats his patients with respect and shows the support and compassion they need. He takes a very scary time in your life and makes you realize hes going to take care of you. My cancer is GONE!!! My family and I think the world of him and have the utmost respect for him. He also has an AMAZING chemo therapy staff. What more could you ask for? God bless them all!!!
