I would not recommend this company. In June I contacted them to order a high end tile for my kitchen remodel. I was not worried about any issues occurring because when youre paying almost $70/sqft for a tile, you believe that comes with a certain level of customer service as well. I paid in full for the order on July 3rd, for an item that I was told was in stock and ready to ship. They told me 2wks at most to receive it. They also said they would stay on top my order with the manufacturer and update me along the way. Fast forward to July 26th and I still have not received the order. I have also not heard from the design studio. Ive called everyday since Monday and was told they were tracking my order and it would arrive Tuesday or Wednesday (23rd or 24th) and it did not. My contractor has had tile guys scheduled and had to cancel and waste their time and his. Squarefoot Design studio doesnt want to call me back so I finally decide I have no choice but to call the tile manufacturer directly, where Im told that my order not only has not shipped but they just received my shipping address today! 23 days after I paid for the order in full. So the design studio lied to me and they have been giving me the runaround for days now. Why? I will never know or understand. Had they just told me not to expect the tile until mid August, that would have been fine because Id have at least known and been able to relay that info to my contractor. That way we all wouldnt be waiting around for tile that isnt coming. Its rude and inconsiderate and the design studio still has not called me back as promised. Its extremely unprofessional and lacks class. If youre going to sell high end luxury products, you should have some class and professionalism to accompany it. Or at least some common decency. I did not want to have to leave this review but this entire situation could have been easily avoided had they just been honest, upfront and taken some responsibility for what happened. If they forgot to order it, just tell me that. Id have been fine with it because Id have at least known to tell my contractor not to wait around at my house to sign for tile that was not coming. I understand accidents happen and people procrastinate but at least own up to your mistakes.

Best place to go to create your dream space. Lots of unique options at every price point. The employees love what they do and you won't be disappointed. Passionate, new age ideas and talented help is available for you. They have handled all our commercial jobs including our decorative pool tile, 5 large commercial office & rec spaces and carpeting installation all with a different look and feel and we couldn't be more pleased with the quality of work, material selections and timely installation. Highly recommend!

The Square Foot Design Studio/Ryan Rios was recommended by a really close friend of mine. The project was a full remodel of a 1250 square foot townhouse in Corpus Christi, TX.  The remodel included tile flooring (1st floor), wooden flooring (2nd floor), paint, grout, baseboards, cabinets, countertops, sinks, lighting, and faucets.  Mr. Rios was to supply materials; flooring, cabinets, countertops, and sinks.  Upon first meeting with Mr. Rios I explained to him that I travel with the military often and that I would really rely on him to communicate via phone since I would not be around. The day after our meeting, I left Texas to go back to my Air Force job.  Two weeks later, while on the other side of the world, my contractor called me to let me know that he was running out of materials and that he was NOT receiving deliveries from Mr. Rios.  So I decided to make a few phone calls.  After a few days of trying, I finally get Mr. Rios on the line, he tells me that he is busy with other projects, specifically one in Horseshoe Bay, Texas and was sorry for neglecting my project.  He then assures me that I would have my materials by the following Monday.  This was on a Friday.  Well, Monday comes and goes with no words from Mr. Rios. He would not return phone calls or Text messages.  When I finally get ahold of Mr. Rios and express my displeasure with him not returning phone calls or text messages, his only response was, "that I needed to be more respectful" when I spoke to him.  I explained to him that in the current situation where I do not cuss, and do not yell and that I am 8000 miles away and had already given him $10,000, that in my opinion, I was being more than respectful.  End result, Mr. Rios never delivered materials, and out of frustration, my 60 year old mother had to drive over to his store to pick up materials for him.  His excuse...he does not deliver in the rain.  ........Mr. Rios sent me a text message scheduling a time to install my countertops.  The countertops were the ONLY thing he was to be responsible for installing. The installation was scheduled for a Saturday starting at 8am.  I cleared my schedule and made sure I would personally be there for the install.  Days before the install, he sends me a text message asking me what color countertops I would like?  I was a little confused, considering he had already shown me one countertop upon my initial visit, but now was presenting me with two different ones.  Not realizing that this had happened I chose one of the two.  Later that day, I caught on to what was going on, I asked the question...What happened to the original Quartz countertop I had selected in the beginning?  Of course...NO RESPONSE.  The night before install at 930pm, I receive an email from Mr. Rios stating that he would not be able to install the countertops the following day.  Also, that he would not be receiving phone calls for quite some time (no surprise to me).  I am not sure if it was out of embarrassment, or fear, but Mr. Rios made sure to install the countertops at a time when I was not available to be at the location.Things Ryan Rios got from me:1. $20,000 paid on time every time2. Free delivery and pickup of my materials3. Supply of materials to complete the job (flooring, thin set, grout) courtesy of home depotThings I got from Ryan Rios:1. Wrong colored countertops2. Poorly cut crooked countertops3. Holes not properly drilled in countertops4. 95% of wood flooring required to complete the job5. 50% of the grout required to complete the job6. LONG LIST OF EXCUSES FOR HIS SHORTFALLS!!!Things I did not get, but wished that I did from Ryan Rios:1. Customer Service (I probably only spoke to Mr. Rios 5 times)2. Delivery3. Warranty on work or materials4. Any level of pride in his workFinal statement:  I should have gone with my initial gut feeling to not do business with this person.  I really wish I could get a refund on my poorly crafted/installed kitchen countertop.  If Mr. Rios wants to stay in business he should probably attempt to learn that in a business relationship, there is the business owner and the customer.  The customer does not need to know all of your personal reasons for not being able to meet your customers' expectations.  All I wanted was what I paid for, and when I was not getting what I paid for, I wanted to know what Mr. Rios would do to fix it.  All I got were personal excuses as to why he could NOT make things right.  Thank you for taking the time to read this, and good luck to whoever decides to do business with the emotional rollercoaster known as Square Foot Design Studio/Ryan RiosM.
