I always stay at the Omni, but our work function was moved to here, very clean rooms, a comfortable bed, and a very nice bar.

A normal hotel. Looks like an old property. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were friendly. Food was okay. Rooms: Spacious rooms with all the ususal amenities. Bed was a bit too soft. Clean linen and towels.

Stayed at this hotel with my husband, family, and some work friends for a work event. The event put us in this hotel. We had a really bad experience. 1. The hotel gave away 1 of the rooms booked to us multiple times. While we were staying there. A person literally walked into the room while we were at dinner. 2. The 1st person there checked all the rooms and 1 of them.was not even cleaned properly. It was even possible they had given us another person's room that time. They told the desk and said we were not taking that room. That was fixed. 3. Breakfast buffet. You can get a better buffet at a base level hotel. I literally got sick from the buffet and had to cancel my plans. 4. Ac. They apparently have an old school ac system that they turn off certain values for certain months. Our room was set to 60. Not cold at all. Complained to the front desk. They fixed ours. The maintenance guy came in and fixed that. Told me that they did that and that no one fixes until complained about. 5. Our room's shower light had a disco party when turned on. First night it stopped working, so complained about that. Light replaced, disco party started up again. This is obviously a wiring issue. 6. The tiles were falling from the ceiling in another party members room. Were put back up. Maintenance said he would send a housekeeper to sweep up mess. Never came. 7. Same room that haf stuff fall also had almost no working outlets. They were using our car jumper, that also has regular battery capability, to charge everything. This hotel is old, falling apart, and obviously needs renovation and work. Do not stay here if you can avoid. Walkability: There are lots of things in close proximity. We walked to the Selena Memorial pavilion and to lots of great possible restaurants.
