I have been at the Yardarm for almost four years and things have drastically changed since I first moved in. Things are handled way better than before. Ownership and management has changed for the better. They put in a new gym and dog park so thats really cool. Anne and Rose in the office are very nice and easy to talk to you if you have any problems. They have been here as long as I have. The other apartments I lived in the staff was always changing and no one knew what was going on. No big maintence problems for me. My ac wasnt cooling good when it was over 90 degrees outside but maintence was on call and it was fixed the next day.

Friendly, helpful staff! Apartments are in decent shape for the price. We haven't had a problem yet that they weren't willing to help fix! Quiet neighborhood for the most part.

The only reason why my partner and I have stayed as long as we have is because the apartments are affordable. Otherwise Id recommend you spend your money on a rental home or on a property more in town with more nicer amenities. They take forever on maintenance requests. Theyre inconsiderate to their residents who work the night shift. They never tell you when theres going to be major work on the building youre in (e.g. like side walk construction or lawn maintenance coming at the crack of dawn). Ive wanted to call and complain a lot of times but I figure whats the use theyll just say sorry theres not much we can do about that. The updated apartments are not worth the hype. All they do is pretty much is add backsplash to the kitchen area while painting over every else half fast. Stay away if you can. And stay optimistic that youll find something nicer thats affordable.
