I moved to Dallas not too long ago and chose this allergy clinic because it's close to my house and has convenient/extended hours for shots. But ever since I started getting shots here a few months ago, they continuously shortened the shot hours. Now only Tuesday and Thursday are shot days and they CLOSE FOR LUNCH. They used to extend the hour to 7pm on Thursday and Tuesdays and open on Friday. The good days are over.I guess I'm gonna transfer my shots to somewhere else close to work. I don't think this place is designed for people with a real job. Plus the location always has construction going on and the school zone traffic makes driving there a pain.

Friendly staff and prompt appointment times. I have HORRIBLE food and environmental allergies that consistently rob me of my joy 9-10 out of the 12 months of the year. because of this I have been on the hunt for a allergist, who not only specialized in outdoor/environmental allergens but food as well. it's a lot easier said than done, trust me. I also wanted someone that wasn't head strong on automatically putting me on allergy shots! I'm just not ready for a 3-5 year commitment of that sort. plus, who truly like getting shots? this is 2015, the end of 2015 might I add... there's got to be a better way than a needle in my arm every week.Anywho, apparently the doctors rotate from their Coppell location to their Frisco location throughout the week so depending on if you're wanting to see Dr. Shmidt or is PA Michael Calvin scheduling can be a little tricky. other than that once you get there they are very prompt and friendly. Michael Calvin explained everything, all my options, different testing, and medications, thoroughly but still in plain every English. Unfortunately, you more than likely will have to have a skin test which is no fun, but after that you can sit down and figure out what your triggers are and how to make you more comfortable moving forward. I really had a pleasant experience and I plan on keeping them as my allergist for as long as I can. Or until my insurance drops them...

After many years of having allergies, I finally made an appointment to go see what it is I'm actually allergic to. Before going an allergy skin test, you have to refrain from taking any antihystamin for some days. They require you to refrain from seven days here. It was a miserable seven days but I know what I had to do. They don't draw blood here so if you want a blood work allergy test, not here. I would rather do a blood test but after finding out during my visit I went ahead and go with the skin test. The doctor is nice and courtious. The office is clean

I really like the Dr at the Coppell location, but it's been an expensive experience. I was over charged for my allergy shots for almost a year. I only found out by accident when I was on the phone with my insurance provider. It took some work but they did refund my credit card. I also took a simple blood test that my Dr recommended, but the front desk did not check my insurance... it turns out the test has been considered experimental for more than a year by most insurance companies. I've spent many hours over the last 4 months with the lab, my insurance provider and the Dr office trying to get the cost reduced... no luck so far so it's looking like I'll be paying $1200 out-of-pocket for a test that confirmed I am allergic to a banana and other foods... not worth it to me. If you choose this Dr, in order to save a couple of hundred bucks, I suggest you learn about insurance procedure/diagnostics codes. It's been a real education on how insurance works. Having poor procedures in a Dr's front office can cost you big time so beware.
