I went for a State Inspection. They took care of it pretty fast even though they said it would be 30 min before they could get to it. They guy at the front desk was polite. Good amt of parking and decent seating area.

Typically, the job is done properly, and I have never been given any surprise charges. If you are an AAA member, you get a 10% discount. There is also a 3 year, 36,000 warranty on all repairs. Edit: The store manager, Greg, is a snake. He charged me for parts and labor on warranty work that should have been covered. I had a radiator and thermostat replaced in September 2022. I had an oil pan gasket replaced in late 2022. The oil pan kept leaking. That fix was easy. Tightened a couple of bolts. The oil pan stopped leaking. But, the coolant issue from the radiator repair remained constant. The test was $25. They found a leak at the thermostat housing. That should have been taken care of in September 2022. I never had a coolant low alarm in my 2003 Jeep until City Garage/Brakes Plus serviced my vehicle. I was again charged for a new thermostat and labor. Patricia tried to tell him he was wrong. But Greg needs a bonus, apparently. Furthermore, City/Brakes Plus did not top off my cooling fluid. I showed that to Greg, and he put roughly 8 ounces of fluid into my coolant reservoir because it would have cost another 20 cents to fill it to the full line. I still received a "coolant low" warning two days later. I took my car to Driver's Edge, and they simply found my coolant sensor was bad. I will never go back to City Garage/Brakes Plus again. Greg is a thief and should be relieved of his duties and start all over wrenching on cars. Brakes Plus owes me $500. When Josh ran City Garage in Coppell, that was a better experience, and we built a trust together. Greg, I wish you a MEH, and I hope you get out of the Brakes Plus system and go screw people at another garage far from where people know you. The new Brakes Plus people seem to be honest. But if Greg is still the manager there, I will forego my warranties and use other services. Michael Aguiire (that's full disclosure)
