You know its odd to be the first to write a negative review. We had this company, which is owned by who we thought was a good friend, built an addition to our home. During this time my father had just had heart surgery and was having cancer surgery. My mother was working very hard to support the home. They took advantage - and ruined our backyard. They did everything they could to cut corners and make off with the extra cash. They are in a current Law suite with someone else they ripped off. They skimmed on all the insulation in our attic - left spots bare every where - left wholes open into our attic and invited critters and bugs into our house. We are now in a spot to have to spend thousands of $'s again to have our attic properly insulated, even though it was their job to do so and we paid to have it insulated properly. These people are crooks and will take you for your money and leave you with bad workman ship. They don't care about your home - they will not be there "seeing the project through to the end". They are not good people and not a good company. You get what you pay for* - sad bit is we paid well and they still did a horrible job. Its not Christian. Sad.

Max, I think you are Susan's son. We aren't good friends, we did an addition for your mom almost 3 years ago. If you had a proper inspection upon completion, you can offer negative statements. WE DID THIS PROJECT 3 YEARS AGO! Has the home been properly maintained? I will assume not. Yard work was not included in the project and that was made clear. Read the proposal. Your mom was doing the yard to save money. All work was signed off on with final payment by your mom. We had a 1 year guarantee. Never heard a peep from you regarding any of these claims. Your mom reached out 1 time saying there was an electric issue. We sent the electrician to only confirm your neighborhood had a power outage! We didn't charge to send the electrician for a false report. 3 years later you make grossly inaccurate claims. I would check your facts about law suites before publicly slandering. It's a horrible idea and am considering taking action against you. We have a solid reputation and stand by it.

I hired L & C Development to renovate our existing home and design/build a sizable and very complex addition. I am an engineer and commercial builder, so I probably have higher (possibly unrealistic) expectations than most folks. The construction activities were sequenced well and every one of their subcontractors provided quality work and respected our home while working in and adjacent to it. I would definitely recommend them.

We hired Jodi and Nick to do a total home remodel in The Woodlands and we couldn't be happier!
