Great experience! A friendly gentleman greeted me at the door asking what I needed to accomplish, and even though I was in the wrong place, he handed me a sheet with the building information I needed!

I asked what I needed to bring so i could either renew my permit or get a drivers license. was simply told to reschedule my appointment. i had an appointment scheduled, and was just told to reschedule and come back. avoided all my questions and was ignored. if i could give zero stars i would.

Very unprofessional office. The attitude of every single employee is terrible - perpetuating every stereotype about the DPS - and they treat every customer terribly. Everyone is forced to wait outside in the sun 10 feet away from the door, for fear of "blocking the entrance." As if a door can only be opened if there is an enormous open space around it. Expect to stand 3-4 hours in the glaring 90 degree sunlight while they sit around in the air conditioned office twiddling their thumbs. If you can make the detour, do so!

People are actually willing to help you here unlike the Spring location where everybody is inconsistent and tells you to bring different documents. We had to come here after going to the Spring location 3 times just to get my daughter a permit. Im having the same issues with my son at the spring location and have to go to Conroe which is completely out of the way just to get assistance.
