Ive told this place multiple times to take me off their text/call list and they still somehow find a way to continue messaging me. 1 star because ive asked you guys to stop texting me as I was not interested in your services.

I would not recommend Salon Mathis to anyone, for the simple fact of what occurred today. We went in a week ago and came back in today to have my daughters hair fixed like she wanted the 1st visit or so we thought... Alex, the stylist did a good job putting in low lights to my daughters hair, they look natural, blend in and are barely noticeable. However this was not what my daughter had asked for... She wanted them to be chunky & noticeable, she made sure to bring a picture showing exactly what she wanted. I expressed my concern to the stylist that this is not what my daughter had shown her, and that you could barely see him. The owner got involved and began asking if my daughter wanted to see the lines in her hair when she pulled it back, this was confusing to my daughter, as she is autistic and just wanted her hair to be like the picture she had shown them. My daughter is not comfortable in social situations, especially ones that seem confrontational, I don't feel that anyone was being ugly. The owner (I'm assuming) speaks loud and very bold. I asked if I could speak to daughter at home and call back. I called back within 20 mins, explained my daughter wants it to be more noticeable. An appt was scheduled. We went today, I simply asked the stylist if this was a correction, so I knew if I was going to be charged. The owner came out guns blazing, speaking very loud as though I had tried to start a fight. She seemed insulted saying it was not a correction that her stylist did nothing wrong and then began to explain what a correction was. I felt almost attacked and had a hard time explaining exactly what my daughter wanted other than she wants it to be more noticeable. She then began questioning my daughter in the same tone. My daughter showed her more pictures and mentioned highlights, that was a mistake! My daughter began to cry, left and went to the car. I then spoke more freely explained what my daughter wanted again and that we needed to tone it down. It was agreed the look she wanted could be done, I'm not sure why it wasn't the first time... I went out to try and get my daughter to come back in. My daughter said she didn't want to get it done anymore, she didn't want to go back in where she felt so uncomfortable. We will not ever go back! Services: Haircut, Hair coloring

Amanda is amazing!! Totally love what she did to my hair!! She is a great personality and in my opinion at the top of her field. I would recommend this place to everyone!! Teresa, the receptionist is also amazing!! Services: Keratin treatments, Bang trim, Hair straightening, Blowdry
