Its unfortunate to make this review. I recently had shoulder surgery so my husband got me out of the house to have a break and we went to the store (Walmart) for some things. While there he mentioned about having my hair washed. It would be helpful and nice to have done. When we walked in to the salon we were greeted. The lady Marie said, oh honey you need your hair washed really sweet it was because Im in a sling and she knew I needed help. She took me to the washing station and started my hair. There were two ladies just sitting in the chairs like they were family or friends to Marie. Marie asked if one of them could go look for another lady. This other lady wanted her hair done also but went shopping instead. Marie then started changing her attitude towards me. She didnt want to condition my hair but I said I needed it to help with any tangles. She goes on to talking with the other two ladies telling them that they needed to find the other lady so she can do her hair and that I was a shampoo only. I asked about having my hair dried one because I couldnt physically do it myself and two it was actually a cold day outside and really didnt want to go out with a wet head. I told her that I normally have my hair dried with a round brush. She came back at me saying that she wasnt going to round brush dry my hair because one it would take to much time, my hair was to long for her, and it would hurt her wrist. I was just shocked at this point to even be treated this way. The other lady now shows up and Marie ask me to sit in a styling chair while the other lady goes to the shampoo station Marie then ask one of the other ladies sitting down if they would come and dry my hair I could tell they were not wanting to do it. Not that they didnt want to but that they didnt work there. So the lady starts to dry my hair and apologizes several times to me because hair would fly into my face. She obviously didnt know what to really do but ai just kept thanking her for even doing it for me. I didnt have her dry my hair all the way but enough for me to leave. Marie then says Im not going to charge you for the wash. I said no you need to still charge me for the service. She was frustrated because that meant she had to stop taking care of the other lady and check me out. I asked if the other two ladies could check me out and she said no they dont work here. So at the register Im still being polite and I still gave her a tip of $10 which would have been more if she would have actually taken care of my hair the proper way. She then says she would give the tip to the lady that dried my hair. But then says that maybe not because she pays her bills. Some of the things that were said to me during this visit really were unprofessional. I thanked the other lady again for drying my hair as I walked out. I was so shocked at how awful I was treated. I know its not the best looking salon and its in a Walmart but sometimes on visits before I have had some really great stylist do my hair. I will never go back to this location and I really dont think Marie should be working as a stylist since she cant preform certain task and it will hurt her wrist. If you go to this place dont have Marie work on you. Im sorry to even write this review but I have never been treated this way and i dont want anyone else to go through it.

My daughter has autism and Rebecca was patient and fantastic with my daughter she deserves a raise I have never had a better experience she was the best!
