If you drive a European vehicle, do not take it to Rooster Ridge Car care. I had a check engine light and my car was going into limp mode. Seeing their great reviews on their website, I made an appointment plus I was told by the manager they work on a lot of Mercedes’. First they changed the fuel filter, and the price was much higher than other shops. Then I was told the soot needed to be cleaned manually, and it would be over $5000. I told them the price was over half the value of my car and I would have to talk to my husband. They called me right back and quoted $4800 plus tax for everything, and it “should” fix the problem. I was given a receipt which did not mention the manual cleaning of soot, or the oil change they do at no charge. My car is a diesel and requires a specific oil. I asked for an itemized receipt, and was denied! They delivered my car to me and the young lady told me how nasty my oil was when she changed it. I told her it’s a diesel, and it had just recently been changed. Well, long story short, after returning it 2 more times for same problem it had to begin with and over 5 weeks at their shop the 3rd time, it was returned to me with the same issues…fault codes (low boost) and limp mode! I recently got my car fixed at an independent European shop for a reasonable price. The charge pipe on passenger side had leak. I feel that the the problem from the start. It now runs great! My car is a 2009 E320 Bluetec. I’m not a happy customer of Rooster Ridge Car Care needless to say.

If it was possible to put zero points, then I would put -1. Changing the oil, tires and battery took them from 9 am to 5 pm, although they promised an hour and a half. I got a call and was told that replacing the battery is a necessity and the cheapest possible option is $ 380. Only they did not specify that this is the cheapest option from them. The cost of this particular battery in other stores and car services ranges from $ 140 to $ 240. From them the same "generous" offer is $ 380 + $ 30 for installation. When I received the invoice, I checked the prices, I asked the manager why there was such a big difference in price, he just smiled and said that I could go to competitors and find a place cheaper. Well, I will definitely do so next time. Thanks for the valuable advice! And I recommend that you do the same. Unless you want to be charged a lot of extra money. Services: Battery, Oil change, Check engine light diagnostic, Wheel alignment

All these reviews are fake. This Rooster Ridge Car Care just changed its name 2 months ago. I assume to avoid detection of the one-star rating of Jesse’s former business Driver Auto. On 12/19, my son saw a warning light indicating the coolant was low. . He contacted me shortly after stating that Rooster Ridge found a leak and the radiator needed to be replaced. I told my son do not to do anything to the car, and I was coming to speak to them personally. By the time I arrived, the car was on the lift and parts everywhere. I also requested an itemized statement; the staff member refused to provide it, promising me it is only 1900 to repair. This is illegal per the Attorney General. We picked the car up on 12/20, and on 12/22, the coolant light comes on again, leaving my son stranded 50 miles from my home. On December 23rd, we towed the car back to Rooster since the coolant light comes on again. We picked up the vehicle that afternoon with more assurances they will be no more problems. At 5:08 that evening, my son drives a few miles; not only did the coolant light come back, but the engine did not sound right either. so, we dropped the car off again. On December 26th, the coolant light comes on again, and the car was overheating. He was stranded over 60 miles away. After three breakdowns, it is obvious rooster ridge car care cannot fix the problem due to their incompetence. I towed the car to my mechanic. .To inspect the coolant leaks in BMWs, you need to pull out the radiator. The hose which connects the radiator has a "Quick connect" fitting that locks in versus American cars; you plant it down. Rooster did not fix it. So, my mechanic replaced the hose; the vehicle was running for about a week later. I contacted Jesse Miller the owner of Rooster Ridge Auto Care and instructed me to contact his warranty company. I have explained several times to him to no avail – his warranty does not cover work not performed. I even sent him a copy of the warranty limitations which he simply ignores. For VPS Radiator Protection Pack, Rooster charged $132.78, but it leaked out since it was fixed properly. On, 1-13-2021- the coolant light came on again (approx a week later) My mechanic diagnosed that Rooster Ridge Auto Care installed the WRONG Radiator- BMW has two types of radiators – one with an aux cooler ( the correct one) and one the one that Rooster Ridge installed. The radiator Rooster installed is for BMW's is without radiator plugs, so there is no place for the coolant to flow, and when it gets hot and expands, it is pushing out the drain plug. My mechanic contacted Rooster Ridge's vendor, 1-800 Radiator, who clearly states they do not sell the radiators with aux cooler. Even on the radiator box states YOU MUST MATCH THE LENGTH WITH OLD SLEEVE AND INSTALL THE CORRECT MATCHING ONE ON THE CSF RAIDER TO COMPLETE INSTALLATION. The total cost with my mechanic to install the new radiator $801.44. That is a massive difference from the $2200.00. On the Rooster bill, there is a charge for $176.27 under "Total Fees," which I question since our bill exceeded the verbal $1900 quote. Sierra stated it is taxed; the statement does not add up. Taxes are 8.5%. Besides the excessive fees, Rooster charged $2136 ( twice the market price) – plus my mechanic fees to correct the problem $1301, Towing $230 & 2 Uber trips = 122.58 – Total expense to fix Rooster's screw-up $1653.58. The fact Rooster flaunts non-existent warranties is false and misleading advertising. Rooster Ridge tried to fix the car unsuccessfully three times. I contacted the owner Jesse Miller and sent pictures and emails from the warranty company. He keeps lying about the warranty, There is no warranty for a part that does not fit into the car. Save yourself the nightmare go someplace else. I would never want someone to be in this position ever
