Working with Kate Vermillion was great. She is very knowledgeable and did great in explaining what was happening and why they needed certain information and documents. There was slight confusion with my documents and her supervisor Yvonne was quick to help solve the issues.

Katie Vermillion has been amazing to work with. My husband and I had a easy 2020 return but hadn't filed 2019 due to moving to a new state. Katie has worked very hard to get everything we needed to file. Thank you Katie for being YOU.

The service was great. The staff member that helped us was knowledgeable of the process. I decided to only give 2 stars because of two reasons. First, we scheduled an hour appointment, and we didnt finish until 2 and a half ours later!! We had very simple taxes and it should NOT have taken this long! Our advisor talked too much. I appreciate the effort to help us understand the tax system, however an hour and a half past our scheduled time is excessive! Secondly, we were not informed at all of the service fee until we were finished with this 2.5 hour meeting and checking out. In my opinion $400 (after the $100 discount for new customers) is extremely over priced for a service that I could have paid $30 for online and gotten the same results! It is my understanding that the further into tax season they increase the fee, which is price gouging, and shouldnt be allowed. We will not be returning to Jackson Hewitt and I do not suggest anyone else going to them for services.
