When shopping for cars after hours of research on vehicles, finances, and finally looking for a used vehicle, I came across a vehicle at this location. It had an acceptable advertised price on both their website and on the Capital One Auto Navigator. However, their website states that there are additional dealer fees such as inspections and repairs along with forced dealer addons that are required for every vehicle. It makes no sense to list the vehicle close to the retail price and then charge the customer for any repairs made on that vehicle on top of the retail price along with forcing the customer to pay for forced dealer addons is very questionable from a dealership. So much that these are all in violation of the FTC Section 463 from July 2022. Since then, the FTC has been investigating and charging dealerships for these violations. However, Allen Honda seems to be one of the many Texas dealerships whom have yet to be fearful of the new FTC Section 463. So buyers should really be aware that the every vehicle at this location is expected to have an additional $4,000+ added onto the advertised listing price at this dealership. I forgot to add this: Since I live 4 hours away, I started driving to this location to look at the vehicle I wanted, I checked that it was still on the dealer's website and still on Capital One's Auto Navigator. Between the time I left my home at 3 AM so I can get to the dealership when they open on Saturday morning, it seems that about 6 AM, the vehicle was removed from the website but still listed on Capital One's Auto Navigator site. Since I got there early, this is when I saw the actual prices of the forced dealer addons for every vehicle only to realize the amount they will be marking up every vehicle. The first sales person that came in said that they sold it earlier on Friday and he learned about that sold vehicle after he submitted another customer whom he helped through the credit applications to buy that same vehicle. I hope that the people who went through the credit application didn't have their credit dinged because the dealership sold the vehicle they were looking to buy with that credit.

I can not say enough great things about the experience and service I received at Allen Honda. Christian Crocker and Brandy in finance were absolutely amazing. They made the process of purchasing a new car go so smoothly. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have previously bought vehicles from Allen Honda and so have my sons. Each time we were met with kindness and hospitality. I recommend Allen Honda to anyone looking to buy and new or used vehicle. The service department is top notch as well.
