The EMT course at emts911 in Carrollton was one of the most entertaining, knowledgeable, and fun class I have taken in years. It's also one of the most structured and organized course I've ever taken.
The lead instructor Tom teaches significantly better than an average instructor you'll have in college. The lecture really sticks and he incorporates active recall elements through pneumonics and constant questions. You'll never be bored in Tom's lectures as he's very enthusiastic to teach and makes learning fun.
Tom gave us all the resources to succeed. Lecture Recordings are available at all times to prepare in advance for class or to review after class ends and for exams, test reviews, SI sessions, and lots and lots of practice quizzes with very good feedback.
After you complete your course, Tom provides detailed instructions on how to get your DSHS license and register take the NREMT. Tom is with you every step of the way, as long as you make a sincere effort to learn and do well.
If you do the test reviews and keep doing the practice quizzes and take good notes/make active recall flashcards. Do all of this and You will pass the course and the NREMT.

If you're looking for an EMT program this is the one. EMTS has a lower price compared to others but you get very good quality training out of it. I saw other programs that were charging from 2,000 - 4,500 for an EMT-B Course, that's just insane! The instructors here want you to be good EMT's and have a good career, they're not just there to get you to pass a test or hand out certificates and it shows! While the instructors are hard on you, it pays off in the end. They also provide all the resources you need such as quizlets, written outlines, pre-recorded videos, additional tutoring, study groups, and much more, it is ultimately up to the student to meet them halfway by studying and doing homework. I was able to complete the program successfully while going to school, going to work, being actively involved at my fire department, and taking care of one of my family members. Not only was I able to pass NREMT first try at 70 questions, but I have obtained a ton of knowledge that will benefit my patients in the future and have a good foundation for paramedic school. Thank you EMTS for training me to be a GOOD EMT, I look forward to return for the EKG course.

Would highly recommend this program for EMT-Basic class! You will get out of this program what you put it. Tom is a great teacher and sometimes is tough on you but if your able to look past it, he will make sure your ready for your career and for the tests!

This is a great school and course. The course is thoroughly taught. You get out what you put in. Socialize in the class, find a few students and study hard and youll be able to pass the national easily. This class really does teach you how to be a great EMT. Im thankful for the instructors. They push you, because they want you to do your best.

I recommend EMTS. Every section is thoroughly taught, and the exams prepare you to be the next greatest EMT-Basic. Expect to put in hours of studying with class pals and you will be rewarded. I passed my NREMT right at 70 questions thanks to this school. (70 questions is a very good thing)
It's a shame EMTS does not have a paramedic program though. 10/10 would've signed up for it.
