        Picked up a Trend Zone USB type C cable at the 99 cent only store. Said that it was a product from Edge Imports. There was a warning label that said "This item may contain lead". I should have read before I bought, But why in this day in age do we have anything with lead in it? Lets aim higher!

      Hi Bill, in accordance with Proposition 65 labeling requirements, all products must be labeled when they have traces of certain chemicals. Most products sold in stores today have some sort of label as there are over 10,000 chemicals on the Prop 65 website. Phone cables are made with copper and copper can have traces of lead. It's not often that they do but this is a preventative measure for our company. With our more recent product, we've updated our disclaimer to include DEHP which is a component of plastic (which can be found within the casing of the phone cables). The actual chemical content is within the safe harbor limits and is not something to worry about!
