        What a great find. I just saw it on the map and figured why not. The history behind the city of Carrollton is so expansive. The park area is full of huge Geese but not the psychotic crazy kind. The area is so serene to be smack in the middle of such a popular area. if you walk around to the south side you'll find a cool little bridge over a spill way or creek that doesnt show on the map. If you're out for a cool day trip this should be on your list.

        Mostly some tables, a pond and usually some ducks or geese now. Marker is somewhat hard to read. There was a steam mill, store and post office (named Trinity Mills) in the 1850s. There was also a railroad depot. The store closed in 1915, and railroad depot closed in 1923.
