Buyer beware, go anywhere else and use any other product!!! I purchased a large amount of flooring and hired a professional installer. He is certified through major retailers and local flooring stores, took extreme care with the product and install. My locking mechanisms are failing, regal sent out an inspector and of course are weaseling their way out by saying installer error just like theyve done on 4 other customers I personally know. Product quality is terrible, customer service is even more horrific. Save yourself the trouble. There are flooring groups online that I wish I had seen before purchasing, this is a common theme with Regal.

Its now going on 6 years since installing my floors and stair treads and they still look as good as day one (and we have two, 25 pound dogs). It also gave me piece of mind knowing that the stain on my floors was a Sherwin-Williams stain.

Had Regal Hardwoods installed in my first home in 2008. Lived there 8 years with no issues. Built my forever home in 2017 & installed Regals Pigeon Cove flooring. After about a year I noticed the finish was starting to come off within the grain in high traffic areas. It is progressively getting worse! Regal sent an inspector. He lied in the report saying that he moved furniture & noted same changes under furniture. He never moved any furniture & the finish is in fact only coming off where we walk. His conclusion was that the floors must have been exposed to water during construction cleanup. We contracted the build ourselves & are confident the floors were never exposed to water. So, Regal advised me to hire another inspector. The second inspector reported that he had only seen an issue like ours one other time. In that case, it was concluded that the finish was being cured too quickly under the lights which caused the finish to sit on top of the grain instead of absorbing into the grain. At that time Regal told me they were sending someone to test boards in our home. Regal never followed through with their plan. Instead our case turned into a he said, she said. They quit returning my calls/emails at the end of last year. Its been a nightmare! I would not recommend their products to anyone, because they do not stand behind them! The 50 year finish warranty has proved worthless for us. Maybe by sharing my story I can save someone else from my misery. I have about 2,500 square feet of wood floor that needs to be replaced after only 3 years.
