Years ago, I had deposited a small lump some with another Edward Jones rep in Burlison and more or less forgot about it. I called the office to find out the balance and to start making contributions again, at first, they told me the account had been closed and then called me back to tell me that it had been transferred to another Edward Jones rep "brad" without my consent or notification.I called my new rep Brad, about my account and he insisted I come in to go over some changes in the terms of our agreement, apparently there was a new minimum balance requirement that he somehow managed to blame on "trumps new regulatory policies?" And I wouldn't be allowed to make any changes or deposits to my account unless it was a deposit sufficient to get me to the minimum balance requirement... I emailed him sometime later to just go ahead and close the account... One last dig," Edward Jones is going to charge you $90 to close your account Don, that's not from me, that's from Edward Jones". Fine
