One thing I've found that is they will regularly short you on lengths if you have them cut your steel. Make sure you either check or over buy by at least 4". One particular example is I bought an 8' section of 12" by 3/8" flat bar, got in a hurry and didn't check it, got it unloaded and in the shop, and then discovered it was a diagonal cut ranging from 93" to 95". This made it useless for the purpose I bought it for. This is far from the only time this has happened.
