Bluffview Villas Senior

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I have a family member who lives here. This apartment complex is supposed to be for people over 55 years of age. Most of the people are retired on fixed income. The old owners would raise their rent every year without any upgrades or renovations. The raise would be no more than $20, but this year, with new owners, they raise my family member's rent by $100. When I went and talked to management, all she could do was blame corporate. Say said they did some comparison survey with all the other apartment complex in the area, and that's how they came up with the amount. So what she told me was there really was no reason for raise except corporate wants to be like everyone else. That's how the world works now. Since they raise rent, they're need to do some upgrades. My family member has lived there for 10 years plus and still has the same carpet, appliances, and paint in her apartment.
