Got a good night's rest because it was much needed and location is awesome as cause I'm a truck driver so it's right next to a Stripes so was able to park the 18 wheeler there and the front desk is awesome, complimentary breakfast was good, thank you guys

We ended to getting to our room super late due to getting lost on the way. We were exhausted to say the least. Bambi, the woman at the front desk, was AMAZING. She was so sweet & helpful. She told me about the amenities offered. She also printed off a form that I needed for the job we were doing because I irresponsibly forgot to do it beforehand. She honestly was our first impression of Texans. We loved her. She made us feel welcomed with her smile & her kindness.

I do NOT recommend this hotel if you have another choice. I was there as part of a large wedding party for mid October 2023. Issue 1: The bride called several months in advance to arrange large group room pricing with a hotel employee named Gracie. Everything seems fine until a month before the wedding when the bride calls the hotel back to ensure that the reservations are getting the group pricing, and the general manager does not see her group pricing deal in the system. Apparently the employee Gracie deleted it. The general manager was really nice and honored the group rate pricing because the bride had confirmation emails. Issue 2: the entire bridal party made reservations at this hotel at the beginning of September. However, none of us got confirmation emails showing our room reservations. And knowing what happened with the bride initially, most of us called back to get confirmation numbers. HOWEVER, the few who did not call back to get the confirmation number had their room reservations "magically deleted by Gracie" and didn't know it until we all showed up to get our rooms. This normally wouldn't be a big deal because then we would just get other rooms, except for the fact that this hotel and all other hotels in the region were booked because of the solar eclipse viewing parties. So we had no choice but to double and even triple up in the rooms we did have (parents of the bride had to share a bed with a grooms man, and few of the bridesmaids had to share a room...which was awkward bc most of us had never met until we were literally checking into the hotel, and finding out that we all had to bunk together). And probably the worst part about all of it is that the hotel staff didn't seem to care. No "hey sorry that happened to you". Instead , all we got was the snarky check in person saying " well if you don't have your confirmation number then we can't help you." Worst hotel experience ever. Noteworthy details: Get a confirmation number, and don't work with gracie
